Scottish Greens – East Renfrewshire

Scotland Can – With Your Help!

Hi everyone.

The Scottish Green Party election launch was held on Monday, and was a fantastic event. Our Campaign for a Bolder Holyrood has started and we can do a big part in East Renfrewshire to elect the West of Scotland’s first ever Green MSP. We believe that we can do this.

Last time in West of Scotland the Greens got 3% of the vote and we never even did any campaigning in East Ren. Think what we can do if we have an active campaign – getting out to meet people with a Green message! We are aiming for 5000 votes in East Ren on May 5th which would combine with other areas to achieve 7% of the vote. That should be enough to get our regional candidate elected.

People are more likely to vote for us if they see we are active and visible, meet our candidates and hear our policies. We have nothing to fear with the Green’s positive message that ‘Scotland Can be Braver, Better and Bolder’.

To make this happen we need your help. We need volunteers to do a variety of things.

  • Deliver leaflets in your area or join us on a group delivery session (the weather is getting better – promise)
  • Put up a VOTE GREEN poster in your window or a placard in your garden
  • Join us on Saturday 20th for a Campaign Stall in Clarkston – we will have stalls every other weekend in Clarkston or Barrhead. (more details to follow)

Please get in touch if you with me if you can help in any way.
