On Sunday 18th October we were out on the streets of Barrhead delivering the first edition of our local GreenSpace tabloid. The day was a huge success, with local Greens and their families delivering to around 1,600 houses in the community.
We’ll be going out social leafleting again in Clarkston and Barrhead soon, and if you’d like to get involved, keep your eye on our Twitter, Facebook and weblog for updates or email us at email@example.com to let us know you’re interested.
Leafleting is a good way to meet local activists and to get some exercise, or at least, that’s what we’ll be telling ourselves if our next activity day is less sunny than the last one!
If you’d like to read the first local edition of GreenSpace you can download it here, but keep your eye out for the print version, if only because the instructions on how to turn it into a pirate hat will probably work a bit better when you’ve got the paper in your hands than they do when you’re looking at the screen.
